Brad Bourque is a lifelong Oregon native and freelance tech writer, specializing in computing, PC gaming, and virtual reality. He attended major conferences including E3, PAX West, Oculus Connect, and CES while working as a staff writer for the Digital Trends computing section, while also handling a regular workload of reviews, news, and op-ed pieces.
In the fall of 2017, he parted ways with Digital Trends to make it on his own as a freelance writer and content producer. In addition, he’s working to build an online video presence, both through his own projects and alongside Wet State Brewing, as award-winning homebrewers Parker and Jon Hall share their skills with the world.
Brad is capable of producing content quickly from lists, or by generating pitches. He’s fluent in WordPress, Google Docs, and the Microsoft Office Suite, and capable of producing pictures and videos with a DSLR, action cam, or smartphone cameras in combination with professional-level audio equipment.
In his free time, Brad is likely squeezing in a few games of Overwatch, or heading downtown for the Portland Timbers. He’s also an avid craft beer enthusiast who tries not to miss a good festival.
